Books

I’m sometimes almost embarrassed by the number of books I’ve had published, but then again why should I be? I always say that, if the first one had sold better, I wouldn’t have needed to write so many more. And some of the titles – especially the plays and the humorous ones – are very slim volumes.

But before I list all my past publications, let’s have look at this year. 2011 sees the publication of three more Simon Brett novels. In March Macmillan published the twelfth in the series of Fethering Mysteries, BONES UNDER THE BEACH HUT, in hardback and the eleventh, THE SHOOTING IN THE SHOP, in paperback. In July Constable published the third in my new, not entirely serious, series, BLOTTO, TWINKS AND THE RODENTS OF THE RIVIERA, together with the paperback of BLOTTO, TWINKS AND THE DEAD DOWAGER DUCHESS. And yet more... In October my new publisher for the Fethering series, Severn House, will be publishing GUNS IN THE GALLERY..
